The Roman Baths
Bath is the most complete and best preserved Georgian city in Britain. It is also one of the oldest cities, famous since Roman times for its warm mineral springs. The Bath countryside is immediately and unmistakably part of the West Country, and the splendour of Bath’s stone fronted houses is reflected in the neighbouring villages. In the centre of the city is the Roman Baths(among the best preserved Roman remains anywhere in England) adjoining the l8th century Pump Rooms and the Abbey stands nearby. WORLD HERITAGE CITY - enchanting and beautiful. Key Facts Distance from White Lodge: 18 miles Web site: http://www.visitbath.co.uk Additional Pictures
